Job summary

NCIHA is seeking a Maintenance Program Specialist to oversee inspections across housing programs and properties, and to support maintenance operations and warehouse functions.

You will generate inspection reports, identify deficiencies, coordinate with the Maintenance Foreman on work orders, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and funding requirements. Strong communication with tenants and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years in maintenance, inspections or housing work.
• Experience with warehouse or inventory operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspections for all NCIHA-managed properties (tribal rental units, Low Rent, Mutual Help, Lease-to-Purchase, Mooretown 2024 units, Hopland Fourplex, Tooley Terrace, Waugh Lane, Rose Healing House, NCIHA office spaces).
• Perform move-in, move-out, annual, preventative, and special inspections.
• Generate inspection reports identifying deficiencies and safety concerns.
