Job summary
National Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and help maintain equipment and premises in good working order.

Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers/dryers, and emergency generators.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
- Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
