Job summary

Brookmeadow at Cobb Corner in Stoughton, MA, seeks a per diem maintenance helper to respond promptly to resident service calls, perform light housekeeping, and handle ongoing maintenance tasks to keep the community clean and safe.

• Performing general daily housekeeping and light maintenance tasks.
• Light housekeeping of common areas.
• Assisting with apartment turnover and moving furniture in/out.
• Snow removal and salt on walkways and entryways.

Responsibilities

• Handle service maintenance calls from residents in a timely manner
• Assist with general daily housekeeping and heavy duty cleaning, assuring that the entire community is kept clean on a consistent basis.
• Light housekeeping of common areas
• Perform ongoing and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with apartment turnover, moving furniturein and out of apartments.
• Handle snow removal and salt on walkways, sidewalks and entryways, as well as clearing residents vehicles during snowstorms.

SCHEDULE:

Per Diem, as needed coverage typically on Sunday, Monday, Friday

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $17-$18 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical requirements : Standing, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending
• Communication : An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Be on time and reliable – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our team to be reliable at all times.
