Job summary

Brookmeadow at Cobb Corner is seeking a part-time Resident Care Associate to provide direct personal care to senior residents in a home-like environment. You will join or lead activities, track care tasks in an electronic health record, and help with dining services as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required.
• Physical requirements: standing, sitting, bending and transferring residents.
• Strong communication with residents and co-workers is essential.
• Punctuality and reliability are expected to support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Part Time: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $18 per hour

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
