Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of related experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. Certification to operate powered equipment may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years of related work experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn maintenance trades and technical skills.
Ability to obtain certification to operate powered vehicular equipment (e.g., forklifts, aerial lifts).

Responsibilities

Assist with repair and installation of facility items and systems.
Perform painting and grounds-related tasks to keep facilities safe and attractive.
Operate and maintain shop tools and equipment to support maintenance operations.
Inspect and maintain gutters, drains, and drainage to ensure proper operation.
Respond to safety concerns and support maintenance team during emergencies.
