Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking an entry-level Maintenance and Grounds Technician to support the Office of Administration in the Facilities Management, Design, and Construction division. You will engage in building, grounds, and light trades work across state facilities, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service.

The role involves heavy lifting, outdoor work in varying weather, and coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in light trades work and general maintenance.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate and lead with integrity.
• Valid driver's license from Missouri or adjacent state if outside MO.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor related to receiving, handling, transporting, and storing building materials and equipment.
• Maintain building grounds, remove debris, perform snow removal and salt application.
• Carry out light electrical, plumbing, drywall repairs, and painting as needed.
• Operate equipment safely and respond to work orders with timely completion.
