Job summary

The State of Missouri’s Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) is seeking a Specialized Trades Worker to support the Operations Team. You will perform skilled work across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other trades, ensuring projects align with objectives and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in a trade, can lift up to 50 pounds, and hold a Missouri driver license.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of on-the-job training in a trade area.
• Valid Missouri driver license or equivalent.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize excellent customer service for a wide and diverse network of stakeholders.
• Complete skilled work within one or more specialized trade areas.
• Apply trade knowledge to troubleshooting, repair and remediation tasks.
• Perform work related to electrical, HVAC, electronics, carpentry, concrete/masonry, welding, plumbing, and/or painting.
• Heavy lifting and operating machinery and heavy equipment per project needs.
• Provide after-hours coverage and emergency response as needed.
