Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking an experienced Specialized Trades Worker to support the OA-FMDC Operations Team. This role involves applying your diverse background across multiple trades to build and maintain state facilities, equipment, and grounds in alignment with project objectives.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of on-the-job training in a trade area, experience operating equipment, and a safety-first mindset. A valid Missouri driver’s license is required.

• Ability to perform skilled work in one or more trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize excellent customer service for a wide network of stakeholders.
• Completing skilled work within one or more specialized trade areas.
• Apply trade-specific knowledge to troubleshoot, repair and remediation tasks.
• Perform work relating to electrical, HVAC, electronics, carpentry, concrete/masonry, welding, plumbing, and/or painting.
• Heavy lifting and operating machinery as needed.
• Provide after-hours coverage for state facilities.
