Job summary

Tyson Foods in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain processing equipment and plant assets. You will perform preventative maintenance, identify parts and services, and complete work orders to keep downtime minimal and production on track.

The role requires physical stamina to lift, reach, and move during the 2nd shift (C-Shift, 4pm–4am). Starting pay is $22.90 per hour and varies by qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.).
• Willingness to adhere to Tyson policies and safety procedures.

Identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

Pay Will Be Based On Qualifications And Experience Level.

Work schedule:

C-Shift

4pm-4am

Sat-Weds one week

Mon-Weds one week

Weds- Half days 4pm-10pm

Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.

Requirements:

6 months industrial maintenance experience.
