Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Albuquerque facility to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machinery and assets, ensuring safe operations and adherence to Tyson policies. You will identify parts, supplies and services, complete work orders on time to minimize downtime and meet production goals, and perform physical tasks in a cold, hot, dusty and noisy environment using basic hand and power tools.

Six months of industrial maintenance experience is required.

Job Details

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

Starting pay rate

$22.90/hour + $2.00 shift differential

Work schedule

D-Shift: 4:00 PM-4:00 AM. Weds-Sun one week. Weds-Friday one week. Weds-Half days 4:00 PM-10:00 PM.

Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.

Requirements

• 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
