Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician for the 2nd shift to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment in the assigned area. You will identify required parts and services, complete work orders on time, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience and be able to handle the physical demands of the role in a noisy, variable-temperature environment.

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and keep machinery running to meet production goals.

Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

Starting pay rate:

$22.90/hour + $2.00 shift differential

Pay will be based on qualifications and experience level.

Work schedule: D-Shift

4:00 PM-4:00 AM

Weds-Sun one week

Weds-Friday one week

Weds- Half days 4:00 PM-10:00 PM

Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.

Requirements:

6 months industrial maintenance experience.
