Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Administrator to oversee work orders and fleet accuracy within the company's maintenance management system and fleet management system. The role focuses on ensuring complete work orders—from vendor invoices to labor hours and repair notes—and keeping inspections and documentation up to date.

You will coordinate with mechanics, manage local parts pickup, and handle responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a physical and lift 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with maintenance software programs.
• Willing to travel between Southeast facilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• See work orders in the maintenance management system through to completion, including vendor invoices, mechanic labor hours input, and detailed repair descriptions based on technicians’ notes.
• Ensure inspections and proper documentation remain up to date in the maintenance management system.
• Responsible for local parts pickup when delivery is not available in a reasonable time frame.
• Work closely with mechanics and understand mechanical repairs.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
