Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Maintenance Fabricator to join our 1st shift in North Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of tube mill equipment.

You will diagnose issues from schematics, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy manufacturing, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience reading schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of LOTO safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on equipment following safety procedures.
• Inspect guards and safety devices and restore equipment.
• Monitor inventory and place orders for parts as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality problems.
• Conduct breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
