Job summary

Werner Enterprises is offering a paid internship at its Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, with opportunities for some remote and off-site work. The program includes real-world experience, housing assistance may be available, and access to mentorship and leadership sessions.

Interns will shadow teams, analyze data, and rotate through various focus areas to gain a broad view of company operations and decision-making processes, while supporting departmental activities for the Werner HQ

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Pragmatic, analytical, mechanical-engineer type approach/background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and communication tools.

Internship Overview

Responsibilities

Shadow and collaborate with team members and leadership to understand operational workflows and departmental best practices. Analyze analytical data and innovation efforts to help identify potential improvements in business processes. Rotate through various focus areas to gain a wide understanding of the business, with the opportunity to deep‑ dive into one or two specific areas of interest. Participate in meetings and discussions to enhance understanding of company‑wide objectives and decision‑making processes. Support the maintenance and management of departmental items, including processes related to the large Werner HQ property and its various offerings.

Qualifications
