Job summary

Werner Enterprises Inc. offers a 10-week summer internship program at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, NE.

The internship provides hands-on experience across multiple departments including Truck Shop, Trailer Shop, Body Shop, Road Breakdown, and more, with on-the-job learning and cross-functional overviews. Paid internship with full-time hours and benefits on offer such as medical, dental and vision plans.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s program.
• Interest in operations, logistics or fleet management.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience across Truck Shop, Trailer Shop, Body Shop and other departments.
• Participate in cross-functional overviews and on-the-job learning sessions.
• Support day-to-day operations and networking with peers and leaders.

Our summer internship program is an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience working on the newest equipment in the industry. The program consists of an 10-week immersion into Werner Enterprises, and is comprised of opportunities in several areas of our organization, including:

• Truck Shop
• Trailer Shop
• Body Shop
• Road Breakdown
• Reclaim Center
• Parts Department
• Prep Bay
