Werner Enterprises, Inc. invites students to a 11-week summer internship at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.

The program blends classroom learning with real-world experience and includes dedicated job training, with some remote and off-site opportunities available. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain hands-on exposure to Azure, GCP, Windows and Linux servers, GitHub, and Ansible, and participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline preferred.
• Some experience with Windows and/or Linux (academic or personal projects).
• Familiarity with any part of Werner’s tech stack is a plus.
• Passion for learning and solving real-world problems.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product priorities and technical initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience with our tech stack: Azure, GCP, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, product demos, and PI planning.
• Learn how to manage the infrastructure that supports the enterprise applications within Werner.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
• Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.
• Mentorship from seasoned engineers and QA professionals.
• Opportunities to grow your skills in development, quality assurance, teamwork, and leadership.

Internship Overview
