Job summary

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our year-round team. You’ll handle mechanical and maintenance work across Beaver Creek’s Upper Village, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, and ensure guests’ properties stay safe and comfortable.

Ideal candidates are 18+, mechanically inclined, with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 18 with a mechanically inclined mindset and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting, drywall, irrigation, and pools/spas.
• Professional, trustworthy and dependable with a customer service mindset.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis with no end date.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain homes and association properties throughout Beaver Creek’s Upper Village and respond to guest maintenance requests via ALICE.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, hot tubs, pools, spas, and irrigation systems.
• Perform general repairs including basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, water chemistry maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
• Work independently to diagnose problems, make repairs, and keep properties operating at their best.
