Job summary

East West Hospitality in Vail, CO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team. You’ll perform daily maintenance, repairs, and respond to guest requests to keep condos and common areas safe and welcoming.

The ideal candidate brings general maintenance knowledge (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry), strong troubleshooting, and a professional, guest-focused demeanor. Shifts are 10am-6pm, Thursday-Sunday.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot issues, prioritize work orders, and escalate when needed.
• Strong communication and guest-focused service.
• Commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
• Flexible to weekend/holiday/on-call as required.

What You’ll Do Includes:

• Perform daily maintenance checks on all departures & arrivals

The ideal candidate is a dependable, self-motivated maintenance professional who takes ownership of their work, solves problems independently, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, well-functioning property. They bring practical knowledge of general maintenance and repairs, strong troubleshooting skills, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. They work well with others, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and understand that quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a proactive approach contribute directly to the guest and owner experience.

• Must be at least 21 years of age, in accordance with insurance requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet applicable driving eligibility requirements.

Key Qualifications

• Working knowledge of general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize work orders, and recognize when specialized assistance is needed.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
• Professional, guest-focused communication and a collaborative, positive attitude.
• Flexibility to respond to changing operational needs, including weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities as required.
