Job summary

Rocky Gap Casino Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform minor maintenance and repair across the property. You will inspect lighting, respond to requests, and maintain pool facilities while ensuring safety standards and OSHA compliance.

The role requires basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC with a High School diploma and relevant certifications preferred; ability to work all shifts and pass background checks is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air conditioning maintenance.
• At least 2 years’ experience in related maintenance.
• EPA I & II or Universal HVAC certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and have right to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and neat appearance.
• Ability to work all shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all mechanical and cosmetic items throughout the facility.
• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property, identifying and resolving potential problems.
• Responds to maintenance requests and in-house calls.
• Maintains pool facilities as assigned.
• Monitors workload and informs supervisor of overload.
• Maintains neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop.
• Prepares daily work forms.
• Adheres to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
