Job summary

Rocky Gap Casino Resort is seeking a skilled maintenance electrician responsible for general and electrical maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities throughout the property, including convention exhibits and pool areas.

The role requires completing readings, wiring, coordinating new electrical installations, and ensuring safety and OSHA compliance while supporting other engineers and handling day-to-day issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air conditioning maintenance.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training preferred.
• Appropriate ELECTRICIAN Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all mechanical, electrical and cosmetic equipment and/or items throughout the facility.
• Assists other engineers and mechanics with repairs; handles day-to-day electrical operations.
• Routinely inspects all electrical equipment, identifying potential problems and/or safety hazards, and repairing same, as needed.
