Job summary

Courtyard Rocky Mount is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our hotel property and guest experience. You will handle routine maintenance tasks across painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems to keep facilities running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests promptly, servicing cooling towers, boilers, and pool areas, and coordinating with team members to ensure quality service for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and related maintenance tasks to uphold hotel property.
• Replace air conditioner filters to ensure HVAC performance.
• Maintain HVAC systems, cooling towers, boilers to provide heat, cooling, and hot water for guests.
• Ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly and to quality standards.
• Maintain pool area with chemical balancing and cleaning for guest safety and enjoyment.
