Job summary

Sigil Partners Staffing is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to keep industrial equipment running safely and reliably. You’ll troubleshoot a range of equipment, from motors and drives to PLC-controlled systems, while improving preventive maintenance practices.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production teams, support installations, document procedures, identify critical spare parts, and train technicians to raise overall equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor in engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or related field.
• Three+ years of industrial maintenance or equipment reliability experience preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• PLC troubleshooting and safe maintenance practices (lockout/tagout) required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment (motors, drives, sensors, PLC systems).
• Investigate recurring failures, reduce downtime and improve preventive maintenance practices.
• Support equipment installations and upgrades including project planning, vendor communication, and contractor coordination.
• Develop technical documentation and provide troubleshooting guidance to maintenance technicians.
