Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer for an active manufacturing facility in Kentucky. You will keep production equipment operating safely and reliably, performing electrical, mechanical, and controls work as needed.

The role requires diagnosing electrical circuits, PLC-based controls, CNC equipment, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, with a focus on root-cause analysis and rapid repair. Schedule flexibility includes weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4–6 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience will be considered.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of power distribution.
Experience diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and CNC controls.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and communicate clearly with plant personnel.

Responsibilities

Diagnose equipment problems in electrical circuits, machine controls, and mechanical assemblies.
Perform maintenance and repairs to support reliable production equipment performance.
Troubleshoot PLC-based and distributed control systems; adjust programs as needed.
Support CNC equipment and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Follow safety procedures around machinery and electrical systems.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to address equipment issues.
