Job summary

Poly-America, L.P. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting maintenance on electrical and electronic systems for manufacturing machinery and related support equipment.

The role involves troubleshooting, identifying safety and reliability improvements, specifying components, and helping train maintenance staff, with opportunities to manage machine control software and multiple projects.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Hands-on experience with maintenance engineering in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting expertise to maintenance personnel.
Identify opportunities for improvements for safety, maintainability, reliability, and operability and execute small projects to achieve these goals from conception through installation and commissioning.
Specify electrical components to optimize standardization and reliability.
Assist in improving and executing the maintenance electrician training program.
Manage machine control software applications.
