Job summary

Poly-America, L.P. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. You will maintain, install, troubleshoot, and modify industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting, documenting and executing maintenance procedures.

You will be part of a maintenance team, ensuring equipment meets OEM specs and safety systems. The role requires hands-on work, problem solving, and adherence to safety policies; experience with lockout/tagout and basic tools is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience in industrial maintenance mechanical work in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
Able to work from verbal or written instructions and be hands-on.
Willingness to learn Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
Knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with OSHA lock out tag out regulations.
Knowledge and practical use of basic mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and modify existing industrial manufacturing equipment.
Document, recommend, and execute maintenance procedures.
Work in a manufacturing maintenance team; ensure equipment is maintained to OEM specifications and safety systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, replace, and repair worn or failed parts.
Install mechanical upgrades and relocate equipment as needed.
Accept additional duties assigned by management.
