Macy's Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for maintaining the store's physical structure and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems. The role includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and meticulous record-keeping to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience across building systems, EPA Universal Certification, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification and an HVAC license preferred.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems to maximize efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on building systems.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance with regulations.
• Ensure EPA refrigerant handling compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Store Management on operational needs.
