Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to maintain the store's physical structure and equipment, performing preventative and emergency repairs on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.

You will keep detailed maintenance records, ensure compliance with EPA and local regulations, and work with the Chief Engineer and store management to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required or in process.
• HVAC/electrical/mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Ability to follow state and federal regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
• Execute emergency, corrective, and routine repairs to keep equipment functional.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Comply with EPA regulations and local fire marshal requirements.
