The Maintenance Engineer II at Macy's maintains store facilities including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency and routine repairs, and keeping records to comply with regulations.

This role requires flexibility, lifting, travel between store and building locations, and strong problem solving, safety awareness, and collaboration with the Chief Engineer and store management.

Qualificações

• Technical expertise in maintaining HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations, local fire marshal requirements, and EPA/SCAQD refrigerant regulations.
• EPA Universal Certification and an HVAC license preferred.
• Safety procedures and codes to maintain a secure work environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with management and team members.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Dependability and initiative; reliable in all responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems and related equipment.
• Perform emergency, corrective, and routine repairs on these systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance.
• Follow safety regulations and EPA/SCQAQD refrigerant handling rules.
• Travel between store and building locations as needed.
• Demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
