Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek to uphold building systems, safety, and energy efficiency. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, and ensure the hotel environment meets quality standards.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, maintaining exterior areas, and supporting guest services with timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, or certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems and the building envelope, ensuring safety for guests, associates, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and execute work orders (e.g., replace ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patch vinyl).
• Inspect electrical systems, HVAC controls, lighting, and perform minor repairs or replacements.
• Service the hotel pool (chemicals, filters) and maintain pool equipment.
• Refurbish and move furniture and fixtures; assist with routine repairs and building exterior upkeep.
• Respond politely to guest questions, complaints and requests to ensure high guest satisfaction.
