Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. at Universal Orlando is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to uphold our high standards of guest comfort and safety.

You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs and routine upkeep across guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas. The role requires 2–3 years in hotel maintenance, basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic English language communication skills.
• Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge required.
• Strong mechanical background with 2-3 years hands-on maintenance experience.
• Valid Florida Driver License preferred.
• Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventative maintenance, daily repairs, and Meeting Room, Guest Room, Food & Beverage Outlets, Public Space and Back of house maintenance requests.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in electrical/mechanical/plumbing systems and basic carpentry/painting/flooring/ceiling work.
• Conducting ongoing room preventive maintenance program.
• Other duties as assigned.
