Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, managing vendors, handling logs, and responding to emergencies. Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety skills and on-site availability are required.

Qualifications

  • Two-year college/technical school program completed.
  • Must have strong safety mindset and ability to work on-call emergencies.
  • Proven experience in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Oversee repairs and routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
  • Respond to emergencies per departmental protocol and communicate with the property management team.

As a long-standing partner to leading healthcare providers, Lillibridge delivers and maintains high-quality environments for health systems, physicians, and medical service groups nationwide - ensuring every building supports safe, efficient, and exceptional care.About the RoleThe Maintenance Engineer takes the lead in all general repairs and scheduled maintenance of building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction. In the absence of a Chief Engineer this position is the point person overseeing all maintenance responsibilities and direct communication with the property management team. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Coordinates with Supervisor to implement, and manage a scheduled maintenance programOversees operation and performance of tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs and assist in maintaining all related logs and recordsOversees the implementation of physical improvementsManages and directs vendors and contractors as assigned to complete work in accordance with contract documents and in a timely manner, including follow-up on completed workDuties will include, but not be limited to, all day-to-day scheduled maintenance, repairs and improvement tasks that range from routine inspections to assigned work ordersResponds to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocolAssists Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logsAssists with controlling repair and maintenance expenses associated with the operation of the buildingsMonitors, as directed by supervisor, contractor service schedules and equipment installations by outside contractorsFollows through on completed work to verify that proper facility conditions are restored.Coordinate, diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance problems and code related issues involving HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Life Safety, Plumbing and other Building SystemsIn a timely manner, report and relay to the Supervisor, all pertinent information related to the operation of the buildingsParticipate as an active team member with all administrative and maintenance co-workersAdhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures and codes of conductManage facilities team in the absence of a Chief Engineer, if applicableAct as an informal resource for the rest of the facilities teamQualificationsSuccessful completion of a two-year college/technical school programValid driver’s license and reliable transportationMinimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience; preferably in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environmentsMust be located in Parker, CO area with availability for after-hours emergencies and participation in on-call rotationMust be in office (onsite) 5 days a weekAbility to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walkingStrong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relationsAbility to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completionAvailability for emergencies and as part of an on-call rotationUtilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive mannerProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and related work order programsHave working knowledge of tools and their proper useAbility to train and mentor direct reportsStrong working knowledge and trouble shooting skills with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety and building automation systemsUtilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive mannerMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the futureWhy Choose LillibridgeCompetitive pay and performance-based incentives90% employer-covered health insurance401(k) with company match20 days of PTO to start + 11 paid holidaysStable, long-term career growth with a trusted national leaderThe estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year ($33-$43/hour). This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
