Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a maintenance professional to perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment at Holy Trinity Hospital in Graceville, MN. The role includes inspecting, repairing, and addressing emergency maintenance needs on a day shift.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of building maintenance experience or related classroom training and holds or can obtain a Special Boilers license within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1 year classroom training or 1 year experience in building maintenance.
• Current Class “Special” Boilers License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, basic HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• Inspect and repair building systems; respond to emergencies as needed.
• May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Provides routine and preventative maintenance including inspection, general maintenance and repairs on various systems such as pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned.
