The ideal candidate has 1 year of building maintenance experience or related classroom training and holds or can obtain a Special Boilers license within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1 year classroom training or 1 year experience in building maintenance.
• Current Class “Special” Boilers License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, basic HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• Inspect and repair building systems; respond to emergencies as needed.
• May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
