Job summary

International Paper’s Bell Container Plant is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will install wiring for conveyors and control gear, read schematics/PLC logic, and maintain clean work areas and accurate maintenance records.

Weekend/overtime work may be required. The role requires strong electrical aptitude, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills to ensure uninterrupted plant

Qualifications

Following all safety rules and practices.
Performing preventive maintenance: lubricating, measuring wear, positions, and observing operations, vibrations, noise levels.
Performing emergency/breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.
Reading electrical block diagrams, schematics and PLC ladder logic.
Replacing faulty electrical components: relays, switches, motors, and sensing devices.
Diagnosing and repairing electronic components such as PCBs.

Responsibilities

Follow safety rules and practices.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
Perform emergency and breakdown maintenance as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
