Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks an Electrician in Omaha to maintain and repair electrical systems on paper-converting equipment. You’ll test and debug devices, ensure safe operation, and support production goals.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, reading blueprints, and collaborating with the maintenance team. Requires HS diploma, basic tools, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of machine tools: drill presses, welders, grinders.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• All types of production machinery involved in the folding carton industry. Must have own tools needed to make mechanical and/or electrical repairs.
• Must be flexible: Able to work overtime, other shifts, and Saturdays/Sundays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical production devices.
• Perform breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Complete maintenance paperwork in the CMMS.
• Replace defective parts and perform routine disassembly/reassembly of equipment.
