Job summary

International Paper's Eaton Container facility in Eaton, OH is seeking a Master Mechanic/Electrician. The role troubleshoots programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives, makes repairs to drives and control systems, and maximizes equipment utilization to run at capacity.

The position requires planning and scheduling maintenance, following up work orders, and ensuring safety and housekeeping. A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred, with PLC troubleshooting,

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Experience in a corrugated facility is strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety and PC literacy.
Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screen, and background /employment verification.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives. Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use.
Maximum the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are preformed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
Plan and schedule maintenance work.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
