Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Maintenance Electrician II in Hobart, IN, on 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) with a base pay of $35.50/hr plus $1.00/hr differential. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electronics, motors, and control systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting tubing mills and packaging equipment, reading blueprints, and performing PM tasks while adhering to safety standards; weekend/holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial electronics, motors, schematics, power systems (AC/DC).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic standalone systems with minimal guidance.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs.
• Experience bending and installing conduit.
• Medium level experience with power tools and hydraulic benders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery.
• Follow 5S cleanliness and safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics; install electrical circuits.
• Support operations and PM tasks; work solo or in a team.
