Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Huntington, Indiana, on-site, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3-11 PM). Starting pay ranges from $25.70 to $35.16 per hour plus a $1 per hour differential.

Benefits start day one and the role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics across mechanical and electrical systems. The technician will perform motor/conveyor/pump/gearbox work, electrical panel tasks, PLC diagnostics, welding, HVAC maintenance, and safety

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read ladder logic and use diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Time management and reliability.
• Mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Perform electrical panel work and wiring up to 480V supervised
• Conduct intermediate PLC diagnostics with ability to connect with PLC
• Fabricate and weld components (MIG/Stick)
• Maintain HVAC systems
• Calibration of sensors and instrumentation
• Plumbing repair and installation (Black iron pipe, PVC, Pneumatic tubing)
• Conduct lubrication, cleaning and visual inspections
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and PPE requirements
