Job summary
Torrey Holistics in North Vernon, IN (2nd shift) seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the reliability of production equipment. Pay rate ranges from $35/hr to $38/hr.
Responsibilities include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems; troubleshooting; and improving downtime performance. Strong PLC and CMMS experience preferred.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
- Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics, and performing repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime
- Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Install, assemble, and maintain machinery, motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
