Job summary

O&K American Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Seymour, IN. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and electrical controls, with emphasis on PLC systems, wiring, and safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and collaboration with team members to keep the plant running smoothly. The position involves performing preventive maintenance, reading schematics, and supporting a range of mechanical and electrical tasks in a busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing/industrial background preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance worker in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, welding, and mechanical/electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose problems.
• Direct helpers on repair projects and document changes.
• Read drawings or follow instructions to plan repairs and modifications.
• Ensure safe, reliable power distribution and equipment operation.
