Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of three (3) years journey level electrician experience.
• Must maintain a valid Nebraska Driver's License.
• Ability to interpret and apply building plans, blueprints, wiring diagram, and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes (NFPA 70, 110, 99, 101).
• Experience responding to and completing repairs on Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs).

Responsibilities

• Installs or repairs electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment.
• Reads from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications to install, maintain and repair.
• Locates and diagnoses trouble in electrical equipment.
• Uses electrician's hand tools and measuring/testing instruments to perform duties.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all types of electrical equipment.
• Responds to and completes service orders.
• Performs other duties as required.
