Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician for the Hruska Courthouse in Omaha, Nebraska. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, with after-hours emergency response as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of journey-level electrician experience, plus a Nebraska driver’s license. Strong blueprint reading and adherence to NEC/NFPA standards are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus minimum 3 years journey-level electrician experience.
• Must maintain a valid Nebraska Driver's License and facility access.
• Ability to interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes (NFPA 70, 110, 99, 101).
• Experience responding to and completing DMOs.

Responsibilities

• Installs or repairs electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment.
• Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications; performs installation, maintenance and/or repairs.
• Locates and diagnoses trouble in the electrical equipment.
• Uses electrician's hand tools and testing instruments to perform duties.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all types of electrical equipment
• Responds to and completes service orders
• Perform other duties as required or requested.
