The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a valid electrical license, and proven experience in a maintenance electrician role, with strong reading of blueprints and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Electrician with valid electrical license.
• Experience as maintenance electrician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with testing equipment for diagnostics.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• On-call availability for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions.
• Inspect systems, use testing equipment, interpret diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components (switches, outlets, breakers, motors, lighting).
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper function.
• Adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with HVAC, plumbing and carpentry for complex issues.
• Document maintenance activities and manage inventory.
• Stay updated on industry trends and safety practices.
