Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in Wisconsin to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment. The role requires journeyman-level electrician experience and at least five years in manufacturing, with strong PLC/CNC/robotics troubleshooting skills.

You will read schematics, install wiring and controls for 240V, 400V, and 480V systems, and document work in the CMMS while ensuring safety and collaboration with teams.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting of AC/DC circuits and high/low voltage systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems including PLCs, CNC equipment, servo drives, robotics, motor controls, and transformers.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and maintenance instructions to diagnose equipment issues.
• Install and repair wiring, controls, and electrical components, including equipment supplied at 240V, 400V, and 480V.
• Identify and install circuit conductors in accordance with applicable NEC requirements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect equipment for wear, vibration, noise, and alignment issues; adjust or calibrate components as needed.
• Complete work orders accurately in the maintenance management system and communicate repair status with the team.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and collaborate with production, maintenance, and outside contractors.

Job description

Maintenance Electrician

Pay: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 1st shift

Schedule: Overtime and weekends may be required

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized electrical training.
• Journeyman-level electrician experience and at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience .
• Strong industrial troubleshooting skills and knowledge of AC/DC circuits, low- and high-voltage systems, and electrical safety.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and electrical code requirements.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Ability to document work clearly and use Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Willingness to cross-train, use ladders or aerial lifts with appropriate training, and work overtime or weekends when needed.
