Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a premier client in the Newark, OH area. This direct-hire role offers a first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM, with a pay rate of $30-$35 per hour.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment such as chillers, compressors, pumps, water towers, air dryers, and transformers. PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley) and electrical troubleshooting skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree/technical cert preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics.
• Experience with auxiliary facility equipment (chillers, compressors, pumps, water towers, air dryers, transformers).
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley).

What’s a typical day as an Industrial Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:

• Performing preventive maintenance and general repairs on facility auxiliary equipment such as chillers, compressors, pumps, water towers, air dryers, and transformers.
• Monitoring, inspecting, and testing fire systems, facilities access systems, and emergency lighting systems.
• Handling general grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and presentable facility.
• Assisting with installation projects and facility modifications.
• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or designated manager.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associate’s degree and/or technical certifications preferred).
• Bring a minimum of 5 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Possess basic electrical troubleshooting skills and can interpret technical documents, manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Have experience with auxiliary industrial support equipment (chillers, compressors, water towers, air dryers, pumps, etc.).
• Have experience with troubleshooting of PLCs (Allen Bradley)
