Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Safety & Health Leader to oversee daily safe maintenance work and Dow Health-Safety systems at the St Charles Operations. You will guide peers and contractors, champion Life Critical Standards, and drive safe work practices across maintenance activities.

The role emphasizes field coaching, safety program management, and collaboration with maintenance and site teams, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive Dow benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Operations, Maintenance Coordination, Safety Support or similar in a manufacturing environment.
• TWIC card or eligibility to obtain TWIC card (US).
• Willing to work overtime and after hours to support plant activities.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for an inclusive culture and flawless execution of Life Critical Standards.
• Spends 50–70% in the field coaching teams on Health, Safety and Environmental tasks.
• Lead safety meetings and participate in contractor safety reviews.
• Manage safety programs including Near Miss and participation programs.
• Assist in implementing Health and Safety programs per Dow processes.
• Ensure EH&S aspects of Maintenance Job Plans are applied in the field.
