Job summary

Dow Inc. in Louisiana seeks a hands-on EH&S leader to oversee daily safe maintenance work and implement Dow's health and safety management systems at St Charles Operations. You will guide peers and contractors, field-serve as technical resource, and influence safety culture.

The role requires initiative, strong technical knowledge, and ability to lead safety programs, pre-job reviews, and continuous improvement. Willingness to work overtime, after-hours calls, and relocate is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in Operations, Maintenance, Safety in manufacturing.
• TWIC card required or eligible; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains health and safety programs in field.
• Coaches teams in EH&S practices and conducts life-critical standard observations.
• Lead safety meetings and participate in contractor safety activities.
• Oversees safety program administration and compliance tasks.
• Supports high-risk activity planning and incident investigations.
