The Spirit Of The Position

The Maintenance Drive position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and operational locations. Duties include

• equipment repairs, sign installation, lighting repairs, changing trash cans, etc.
• Interface with customers, provide effective communication between departments, co-workers, customers, and clients.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Garage Maintenance Drive look like?

• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots – sweeping, emptying trash cans, installing/removing signs, changing light bulbs, painting etc.
• Assist with snow removal and management of winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages) if applicable.
• May need to operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to ensure floors are clean and safe.
• Responsible for ensuring all daily duties on maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
• Assist customers as needed over intercom system, in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
