Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Hartford, CT. The role oversees janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots, ensuring daily cleanliness and safety.

You will coordinate with departments, handle conflicts, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates. The position requires experience in general facility maintenance and customer relations, with the possibility of operating maintenance vehicles and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• May need a valid driver’s license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate landscape equipment and tools.
• Line striping.
• Interior and exterior painting.
• Snow removal and winter upkeep management.
• Operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to keep floors clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Hartford, CT

The Spirit Of The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, provide effective communication between departments, co-workers, customers and clients.

What We Are Looking For

Principal Job Duties

• Responsible for trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching
• Operate landscape equipment and tools
• Line Striping
• Responsible for interior and exterior painting
• Snow removal and management of winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
• Operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to ensure floors are clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• May need a valid driver’s license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.

• Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.
