Job summary

LAZ Parking is hiring Maintenance staff to keep garages and surface lots clean and safe while engaging with customers in a friendly manner. You will perform sweeping, cleaning, trash removal, light maintenance, and snow upkeep across multiple locations.

A valid driver's license is required, and no supervision is necessary for many tasks. We value teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to handle challenging situations with a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience with general facility maintenance.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Landscaping, power washer, and striping experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned when needed.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate maintenance vehicles.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, painting, etc.
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep (sidewalks and garages).
• Operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to keep floors clean and safe.
• Complete daily maintenance checklist efficiently and timely.
• Greet customers, be responsive with correspondence and resolve problems.
• Provide premier customer satisfaction with a friendly, can-do attitude.

The Spirit Of The Position

Maintenance is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, provide effective communication between departments, co-workers, customers and clients.

Principal Job Duties

• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned when needed
• Must have valid drivers license
• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting etc.
• Assist with snow removal and management of winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
• May need to operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to ensure floors are clean and safe.
• Responsible for ensuring all daily duties on maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
• Greet customers using name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Landscaping, power washer, and striping experience
• valid driver's license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.
